Can`t do system restore

Yet again I can`t seem to do a system restore on my puter. I Have absolutely no idea why and I can`t seem to find a solution or reason why it`s happened on microsoft site. Any ideas why this keeps happening please? Confused

From memory, you need to have a restore point set in the system so that you can restore back to it. This can be created by you or Windows can automatically do it if you set it to do so.

Also I believe that the restore will only take place if there have been ''changes'' in your system that make a restore necessary. If Windows cannot detect any ''changes'' then it won't restore as there is no point.

I do have restore points, me puter just doesn`t want to play. Twisted Evil

How can I find out if my registry settings are knackered? Confused

(and Bert...don`t you roll them eyes at me.)

I get the message that my computer can not be restored to this earlier point and that no changes have been made. Confused

I`ve done that before Bert, restore works for a while after but then decides not to work later on. Twisted Evil
