Ian Huntley wants £100k in compo after his throat was slashed in prison. He is suing saying the prison failed in their duty of care towards him:

Disgusting. I sincerely hope this c**t gets sod all other than another good kicking in prison.

Huntley tried to kill himself as well - is he going to sue himself?

I'm not a huge fan of the death penalty but when there is absolutely no doubt whatsoever that a child murderer such as Huntley is guilty then the death penalty is appropriate.

And convicted prisoners should have their human rights taken away from them as their criminal behaviour forfeits any rights, IMHO.

Bloody disgusting. He shouldn't be allowed to sue anyone. So he got his throat slashed? And? Who cares? Good, I hope it hurt. It's a pity it only cut his throat, instead of chopping his head off.

For filth like him, the death penalty is the only option. He took away Holly and Jessicas lives. Why should he have his?

Taking away his security in prison and isolation from other prisioners should see some justice. Many lags don't like child killers...

No they sure don't, and more often than not, the prison officers turn a blind eye. He'll get his comeupance. One of these days, someone will do the job properly.

Amen to that. I'd happily ring his neck, and laugh too.

we all know this is morally wrong but we dont have courts of morals we have courts of law , and sick as it is in a court of law he was owed a duty of care and was failed .

he could easily win this case

I heard on the radio that Holly and Jessica's family received £11.000.

It is a world gone mad if Ian Huntley's throat is worth 10 times more than the children he murdered.

Huntley had a duty of care to society. He failed and murdered so no duty of care should be extended to him.

I have absolutely no sympathy for Huntley, I hope someone does get him, but the paradox is that we did fail him, prison is (allegedlly) a punishment, and every prisoner has a right to safety as galling as that is. We either change the laws, and sentences, or abide by them (as sicening as that is sometimes)

i thibk it is absolutely foul that Hollys and Jessicas parents got such a paltry amount, and that Huntley could get more is just plain wrong, but lie it or not it is the law, and we cannot just follow the law when it suits.

It would be perhaps more palatable if any money he does receive (if he does) was given to the parents of the girls he killed.

I honestly beleive someone, somewhere will do him over one day, same as Roy Whiting. (Two bloody good reasons for capital punishment!)
