Apparently in Dublin they have banned people from signing on for benefits who were turning up in their pyjamas.Do you think it shows a lack of self respect when you dont get dressed to go out, or should people be able to wear what they like, as having no respect for others is difficult when you have no respect for yourself.

Funnily enough Helen, our daughter and I were discussing this just yesterday. I was admitted to hospital with a severe ear infection in January 2001 but before I could be admitted I had to get Helen to buy a pair of PJ's so I could be admitted safely. Typically she went and bought two pair's for just one nights admission. So I two pairs of PJ's that have seen just one nights use between them, so yesterdays topic of conversation was why buy two pairs when one would have done - course two females idea of logic won though I still disagree

Gawd...this is one of my pet hates.....the fact that some people will wear the same thing all day then to bed too makes me shudder...the fact they wear it out as well makes me wanna scream!! To me it shows utter laziness...lack of self pride..
I think mums doing it on the school run etc is not good parenting....the kids will grow up thinking it's normal....where will it end? Will our human rights soon dictate we can wear jim jams to work? Will our day and night clothes morph into one? Jesus wept!!

Completely agree Mrs K. Mums turning up for the school run in their pj's because they are too damn lazy to get dressed is bloody awful. Dirty cows probably haven't even had a wash!
I mean how long does it take to have a quick wash, throw on a pair of jeans and a clean top and brush your hair?
Just as bad are people who go to the supermarket in them! ! ffs. Dirty lazy smelly slobs.

So to answer your question ACS, yes I agree they are quite right to ban people from signing on until the dirty gits have got dressed.

I blame Colin Farrell, about a year or more ago (ACS ffs keep up with times please) Colin went to someones house in his PJ's and since then it took off.

And its not just Dublin!!! Most Tesco stores in England have also stopped people coming in in their PJ's.

So they bloody should. I don't want to do my shopping next to some dirty sweaty cow in her jim jams who hasn't heard of the words soap and deodorant. Get dressed you dirty smelly mares and have a wash!!

Hows that Mrs K? Wink Laughing
