6 Month Chat Name Reservation.
You have chosen to reserve your choice of chat name for six months, at £7.99. For only £2 more, you can reserve your chat name for two whole years!
If you wish to continue and reserve your chat name for six months, please complete the form below.
1) You understand and accept that you are paying us a fee to password protect your choice of chat name only. Reserving a chat name does not guarantee your use of that name, or access to a specific number of chat forums. It offers no preferential treatment or other privileges at Just Chat. You will still be subject to the site rules, and at peak periods the chat forums may be temporarily full.
2) If you break the site rules, we reserve the right to ban your reserved chat name. Persistent abuse will result in the loss of your reserved chat name and your reservation payment will NOT be refunded. What constitutes 'persistent abuse' is determined by Just Chat and our decision is final.
3) If, at any time during the reservation period, we determine that you have reserved a chat name with the specific intention of preventing a regular chatter from using their associated chat name, we will cancel your reservation and your reservation payment will NOT be refunded.
4) We reserve the right to refuse the reservation of chat names at our discretion. We do not need to give a reason for this. We will not reserve sexual or offensive chat names. If your chat name reservation request is rejected, you will be offered a refund automatically via the email address you gave of the full amount paid (not including any transaction fees incurred from PayPal who process the payment).
5) You are registering a chat name for use in the chat forums only. This registration does not include your choice of username for any other Just Chat service including, but not limited to, the message boards or epals services.
6) Chat names are reserved on a 'first come first served' basis. If your requested chat name is already taken we will email you using the email address you give us so you may choose an alternative name. If you do not wish to reserve an alternative name, you will be offered a refund of the fee you paid (not including any transaction fees paid by us to PayPal who process the payment).
7) We will email you as soon as the reservation has been processed. Your 6 months will not commence until we have set up your reservation request on the chat forums.
8) Your chat name will be reserved in each chat forum for 6 months from the date we receive payment. It is your responsibility to renew your chat name prior to its expiry date. We cannot guarantee we will be able to send you a renewal notice by email.
9) The payment information you provide when proceeding with your payment for this service is not passed to us. Your payment will be processed by a third party. PayPal will use the personal information you provide when paying the reservation fee. Please consult PayPal's privacy policy for more details. Just Chat will be aware of your name, the amount you have paid, your email address, your requested chat name and your requested password. This information will remain confidential and be kept secure, as described in our privacy policy.
10) If you choose to pay the reservation fee by credit card, you understand and accept that your card issuer may impose a cash handling fee and/or subject the transaction to a higher level of interest than a normal transaction. You understand and accept that any such charges are your responsibility.
11) We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions and/or withdraw this service at any time.
12) By reserving your chat name you are confirming your understanding and acceptance of all the above conditions.
