Another good one is “Be careful of what you wish for, as you might just get it” As you say, the fact that no one bothers, indicates that they would vote ‘other’ if pushed……….POINTLESS and no doubt at some ridiculous expense to the tax payer.
If you don’t vote then you can hardly complain about who does get elected. In recent General Elections and more so in the local ones, the non-voters are the majority. Is it just apathy or are people in the main content with their lot?
