    I am hopeing that somebody has the tech know how to help me with this one. i cant remain in just chat room for longer then 10 mins at a time , mostly 3 mins , it has been like this for 4 weeks now. i have read all the posts on what to do with what seems like the same problems i am having, however nothing has worked. I have even done a complete recovery, and still no luck . I am really stuck and would appreciate some help i use windows xp , i have no idea what to do next. Apart from the obvious,( opens up a window )

    When you say you “can’t remain in just chat room for longer than 10 minutes” is this because boredom sets in and you have an uncontrollable urge to exit, or is there some other cause?

    Maybe you could assist us by describing your feelings at the time and how you felt after you ‘left’ the chatrooms??

    What exactly happens when you’re forced out of the chat forum? Is there an error message? If so, what does it say?

    Do you have a broadband internet connection?

    i spoke to tatler abt this the other day and as she said has tried a recovery back to factory settings and Gazlan, im sure she said she has tried different browsers and she also checked the java not sure if she updated it or not cos she fell out for the fifth time lol i know beggar all abt computers really so couldnt really help much, i am only posting this because she said she wasnt sure she could stay on here either but was sure it was only the chat room she had a problem with and i assured her that it wouldnt happen on the boards but i’m wondering if that assurance was right or not myself :?

    What browser are you using ?

    It is worth checking your router, this usually happens when it is faulty, Suggest you contact you sp and ask them to check the router.
