and skep had hair (lol) and wordsy was still reading enid blyton booksLD still had dreams of being a catwalk model,tinks was selling the big issue etc,i got my first pm,i was asked ASL i didnt know what to say i thought they were asking me if i was asleep, so i just said no im awake
another thing that bugs me is certain regs actually beleive these “newbies” are new
there is no newbies tho they are extinct,anybody in there 40s would have found this place by now?
spammers,bullies,people who think there “it”,lurkers just do my head in
yet i still go in there as i have friends in there ppl who i know outside the room and ppl i have met on meets
i just wish some people would grow up

Hi Nigel of Monmouthshire,

Frankly I’ve never understood why people get so upset about name changers, after all there is nothing in the rules to say they are not allowed to do so. Perhaps sometimes regular chatters get fed up of chatting in the same name and as long as they aren’t abusive then I don’t see a problem.

You must appreciate things have to move on. Since you started chatting Words has left the Magic Faraway Tree behind and progressed to the Famous Five. I no longer model Barely Black popsocks on the catwalk, I now make a handsome living from modelling custom made onsies. Tinks has left the Big Issue behind her after paying off her mortgage with the proceeds and is now often spotted busking somewhere along the Piccadilly line.

If it seems to you like some regular chatters fall for the “newbie” cry, then I can assure you they don’t, it’s simply that some are more tolerant than others and like to welcome new people that choose to use Just Chat.

It’s really not fair to say there are no newbies because there are and I’m sure you will join the rest of us in welcoming them to our community.
