I am happy to say that I did precisely that – worked hard (hating every minute of it), jacked it in, moved to France and teach/coach swimming. A little like what Sgt said – I reckon a lot of sportspeeps always ‘wish’ – so, what I couldn’t have, through illness, I have gained from teaching/coaching – and, I do wake up with a smile on my face :D
