I disagree. The players are coming though again now. Every small country goes through lean times, but I believe the next 10-15 years could see Scotland reemerging to qualify for tournaments regularly again.
I actually saw a picture of a longer haired Joe Cole in the paper today, and with the longer hair he does look a bit like John Belushi. :shock:

That’s not the case anymore. There’s a load of home grown talent coming through in Scotland now. The best crop for a long time. They’re just gonna need some time to develop.
The foreigners are gradually getting phased out. The top clubs in Scotland will always have a handful of foreigners, but the home grown lads are getting their chance again now.
Maybe Euro 2008 will be too early for us, but well be back in the World Cup and qualifying for tournaments again come 2010. :wink:I see absoultely no similarity between those two at all Pikey. :? Have you been smoking that wacky backy again mate?

It dosent matter. Gretna winning the Scottish Cup would be a sensational achievment. I’ve already mentioned that Hibs, one of the bigger Scottish teams havent won the cup since 1902, so that shows the achievement it would be for Gretna to do it.
Oh the old ” It’s only Scottish Football” line again. Celtic may not have the best squad in the world at the moment, but a few years ago we’d have been top 3 in your overrated 1 team Premiership. :wink:
