Youre right mate and im not just saying it as a Celtic fan. O Neill is exactly what England need. They would know exactly what they were doing under O Neill, and I would tip England to get to the World Cup Final next summer if he took over.
I dont trust foreign coaches in charge of foreign national teams. Voghts made a pigs ar.se of it as Scotland coach, and look at happened since.
