Times spent with a great friend – Kev – who sadly died a few years ago ….

He told me the story of when he worked at the pit – and they had a new team member – who’s place it then became to do all the running around – he was heading for the canteen one day and asked Kev if he wanted anything – and Kev said 20 Embassy….. the guy asked ‘What if they dont have those?’ Kev said anything would do (meaning cigs!) The guy came back and handed Kev a cornish pasty ….. ‘They didnt have any Embassy’

I have never laughed so much in my entire life – such a simple tale but told by such an awesome man!!!
