I loved his programmes too, he had such a passion for what he did. Truly a remarkable man! It was odds on he was going to meet a grisly end, goes with the territory really, just a shame it was so soon.
Rest in peace xxx

Bassingbourne……..my son was on a train a couple of months back, he was wearing a T.shirt that i’d gotten for him at an Eric Clapton concert. It has a guitar on the front and on the back is a signature of Eric Clapton, underneath which is the word ”Blackie”, it’s the name he calls the guitar which is on the front. He was approached by a black woman who said she was offended by the T.shirt as it was racist. He told her it was a guitar and the name of the guitar was blackie, that he wasn’t being racist at all, he also suggested she should get a life!!!!

Thatcher is an awful woman, I have no time for her at all. As for your description of a loud cleric determined to be heard above everyone else, that sounds a lot like Ian Paisley.
Yea!! you have a point BM. Maybe he should be put in the same cannon as the asian cleric, or would that be too crowded ya think. Hmmmm maybe seperate cannons for more comfort and better aiming :wink:12 August, 2006 at 12:12 pm #232502I agree with Sharon here actually, about the RSPCA
Where I live at the moment i’m the subject of abuse from what I suppose you might call teeny terrorists. Except they’re not teeny, they’re between the ages of 11 and 13. Positively encouraged by their parents, who lets face it, must be so proud of their offspring.
Anyway, a couple of nights ago, there they all were, when I took my dog out, with the fattest, nastiest Pitt Bull i’d ever seen in my life. It’s teeth were bared, growling, drooling, and the girl who was holding the lead was barely able to hold onto it. She let it go, it made a bee line for my own dog. I went back inside and I called the RSPCA to report it, don’t they continually divel on, on their programmes, to report situations such as this, they weren’t interested. I pointed out that the dog, could not only do harm to my own animal, but also to me. They still weren’t interested. In future, if the same thing should happen again, i’ll just make sure i’m wearing heavy boots, and will kick the f*cking dog where it’ll most feel it!!!! In the meantime, frankly, I can’t wait for the thing to turn on it’s teenage owners, because no doubt it will. If you teach an animal to be vicious, it doesn’t discriminate in who it becomes viscous to.

They might be a pest or a pain, but to just see those poor fluffy white creatures being battered to death just makes me wonder how heartless people can be. If they need to cull, which I understand because the fisherman also need to live, there are better and more humane ways of dealing with seal pups!!
It’s one of those no win situations I think. However it was dealt with, there’d be someone screaming how in-humane and unkind it was

I have no problem with muslims living in Britain. Anyone who would suggest that we should rid Britain of muslims is clearly an unbalanced individual. What is it about BNP supporters that make them come across as miserable, old, gits with an axe to grind against the world and his wife?
I’d agree with that in part Mr B. With the exception of the Muslim Cleric on the panel on last nights programme. It was the first time i’d watched it, and I knew i’d seen a thread on here about it, was why I came on here today to comment on last nite’s
I don’t know if anyone else saw it. Personally I think the cleric should be put into a cannon and shot straight back into the stone age. He was, as a lot of ethnic people are, extremely loud and was going to be heard over everyone else whether they liked it or not.
His opinion on women………….their role is in the home, bringing up the children, being and remaining for all time, subservient!! He said leave a woman in charge and you can quarantee to lose whatever it was you were trying to achieve. He’s obviously never heard of Maggie Thatcher has he? For all her faults, none of this present shyte would have happened if she was still in the chair, she was no ones poodle, had a mind of her own and stuck to her decisions, more than can be said of Mr Blair. Frankly I hope that he and he compatriate are very proud of themselves :roll:9 August, 2006 at 1:46 pm #233590@becky wrote:
I am actually car seat trained. Meaning i fit seats in cars safely and correctly. I had parents come in with a baby who couldnt even sit up asking for a booster (ages 4+) because the car seats we had didnt match their BMW’s interior?!?!?!?! What the hell is that about? My 2 and a half year old and 4 and a half year old have the same car seat cost £60 each but how can you put a price on your kids safety? And both seats dont match our car seats either SHAME!!!! Does it matter??? NO. Kids dont want to be seen in car booster seats at 11 but if they are short tough luck! Kids are to be told not dictate to parents!
Well said Becky =D> =D> =D>Luggage on the roof yea, what do you suggest with a mountain of Asda carriers
