Jen gave some good advice there, try not to show any expression if you can too, dress neutral, there are some very good mediums out there, i have see some but the majority can be a bit off mark, one of them i saw assumed a lot about me from my appearance, i.e short dumpy lady lol and her assumption was that i made sandwiches , all sorts of domestic stuff whereas in fact i was a project and communications manager for a local council lol.

this is a lovely post eve and i agree thatsometimes folk do change things for change sake and also there is far too much judging ‘book’ by their cover goes on.

my only other comment on this thread is that its a shame that it has to an extent gone off track a little x

I am really not looking for a club. I thought that this time a pub where we really could socialise with each other and natter and have a laugh. Then, later, if anyone does want to go on to a club, they can go.

I promise that if it is Karaoke i wont sing :)

to be honest yes its the social aspect of it eve, and btw lol, landlords of pubs that do karaoke usually let me sing at closing time to empty the place pml xx

hiya, im on course for attending, to be honest but please dont just take my opinion i could always go home a bit earlier, im not much of a one for ‘clubs/’ but as you have said a nice pub with some sort of kareoke or something would be lovely, as i live close i will ask around if anyone knows about northampton for you ? then i can just pass the information on to you?
