But if he has any respect for us, I think he ought to give a reason for deleting the whole thread. I can’t make him. It’s just my thought.

Martin has left a lot of obscene abuse and pretty foul accusations on this board intact.
I delete content that is against the site rules when I come across it, or when it is brought to my attention.
When you see obscene abuse and foul accusations, please use the ‘Report’ link that is on every single post. I am but one man; I cannot always read every single post made on the boards. Some help would be appreciated.

And why do I have over 300 notifications of posts on boards ( @ my email address box), even if my notifications to emails were switched off ????? Something is definitely wrong !
Email notices are not the same as notifications. To turn off email notices, you need to go to your profile and click on the ’email’ tab — not the ‘notifications’ tab.
I assume it’s been taken down. It contained some pretty nasty posts from an obscenity called rudeboy, but that’s happening increasingly now. But it also contained some interesting argument. It wasn’t all just insults. As several of us had written posts which took some while, it would be nice to know why it just went.
Although subsequent posts in the thread did have some good, interesting comments, the opening post was so offensive, it bordered on hate speech — and was, therefore, deleted. Since the opening post had to be deleted, it resulted in the loss of the entire discussion thread.
Since I’ve now answered the question, I am closing this topic.
