It isn’t intended to. The purpose of this thread (as I have repeatedly stated) is to present hard evidence that there is still abuse on Just Chat and that the guides will take no action against it.
This disproves the narative that guests were banned so that there would not be abuse.
What you fail to understand is that JC is much like a bar, with the guides as bouncers. They can eject paying customers and institute their own policy enforcement, whether you like it or not. You can’t say the N word here, but you CAN make any other racial slur you like. But a chat room, like any other privately-held enterprise, is not a government-run organization that must comport to YOUR values because your taxes fund it.
I couldn’t disagree more, this is complete nonsense.
There is a moral (and legal) obligation to provide a service as it is advertised, this is especially so now that it is a paid service. Part of this service is the rules that are publicly visible on the site, which must be enforced as stated.
Private or public ownership has no bearing on this, and I don’t understand why you brought it up even.
I go to a barbershop where the old man forbids swearing. If someone swears and I call the old man on it and demand that he throws them out, he will disregard me, just as your concerns are being disregarded.
That would not be acceptable, as I previously stated the barber has a moral obligation to deliver his service as advertised (no swearing).
Even if for some reason you didn’t think that morality or principals are important (which you apparently don’t), the barber forbidding swearing would be counted as a verbal contract of sale under UK law (see 1893 Sales of Goods act, and the 2015 consumer rights act, ect), and would be liable to fines and even imprisonment.
Stop being a hypocrite. You DON’T want uniform enforcement of rules or you would be more careful in your remarks. You want it one way for you, and another way for others.
YOUR statement, “effeminate men are worse then women,” clearly indicates that you think it’s acceptable to hetero bash while you accuse others of homophobia. Would it be acceptable in Drac World to say “gay men are worse than women?” Is it acceptable in Drac World to say “masculine men are better than women?” Why do you think you can denigrate women and effeminate men? Is it because they don’t match YOUR preconceived notions of gender roles?
Why are you conflating sexuality and personality? I never said anything about gay men, or gender roles even.
I think this speaks to your own prejudices against gay men rather than anything.
if you demand to be free from offense, don’t make the same type of sweeping statements about other groups that get your panties in a wad if others make them. A little self-realization would help you and others greatly here. Otherwise, you will increasingly become the hyper-sensitive hypocrite that was previously known to us as Badder.
If ALL guests have to be banned so that certain people are not abused, then yes I expect any registered user that abuses me should also be banned under this precisdent.
i think i have mentioned this before draculina….most of the chatter’s that were being abused are now contacting the police direct via email This is a police matter now
