They are followers they dont control the fox population. The people who are in employment with the hunt are the pros, they were who I was refering too not the people who pay to follow. Again could you tell us the humane methods of killing that you think are possible?

You come from a misplaced idea that Foxes need to be controlled. I don’t agree.

Killing foxes has no lasting results. Foxes are territorial animals – if one fox is killed another soon moves into its place from a surrounding area. Foxes also control their own population.

The fox’s diet of rabbits and rats actually makes it an asset to most farmers. A 1996 MAFF booklet stated that only 0.4% of lambs who die do so due to accidents, dog attacks, and all other animal predatation – which includes being taken by foxes.

There are estimated to be 250,000 adult foxes in the UK, producing about 400,000 cubs a year, most of which will die in their first year of life. Humans kill about 400,000 foxes a year so a ban on fox hunting, which kills about 20,000 a year at most, will have little impact.

I do not think that Foxes need to be controlled, therefore I have no reason to put forward an alternative to Fox Hunting.

Sorry can you just explain that a tad more clearly – If “humans” kill about 400,000 foxes a year – and there are estimated to be 250,000 adult foxes – and fox hunting kills 20,000 foxes a year – and most cubs out of 400,000 born each year die in their first year – then surely foxes will be extinct very shortly !!!!

The only thing that makes our Premiership so good is the influx of foreigners – without world class players – Im talkin Henry , Bergkamp , Robben , Cantona , Crespo etc it would be poor
