Gawd it was a joke maybe some found it tasteless or read too much into it but singleing out someone like that is far nastier than the joke itself, if you had a genuine complaint abt it you would have taken it to admin not spread it round the boards in some petty “look what they said ” tripe !! Or when a chat guide, do you still retain your prejudices and “friendship” with those that offend and upset others, thereby failing other chatters?
Far nastier to name and shame the perpetrator is it? I think not – it’s showing welsh fem for what she really is – not very bright or intelligent and totally bereft of any consideration for other chatters.
Seems to me in JC, those that are popular regs with big mouths (usually female) can get anyway with anything – bullying, offending and upsetting other chatters at will and absolutely nothing is done about it. You complain – you just get laughed at. Pathetic.
Well done panda for confirming what was already suspected and that is that your original post was purely a vindictive slight on a particular chatter. What a pity you didnt have have the maturity or intellegence yourself to deal with it in a more apt manner. As for accusing chatters of bullying and being offensive your comments seem somewhat ironic considering the nature of your post.
(f)politics? isnt supposed to be a guide, she IS a guide, simply because she has an opinion surely doesnt mean she isnt able to objectively deal with matters in the chat room. Perhaps if you had infact discussed your concerns with her the matter could have been sorted out amicably. Instead of which you have made yourself appear to be one of those moaning bleaters who constantly whinge that nothing is ever done.
We are all aware guides cannot be there 24/7, so I simply cant understand why if people get upset they cant use their ignore button or leave the room until things have calmed down and then have a word with a guide when they come in, Its a chat room after all, no one forces any of us to be there!

Maybe it doesn’t break site rules but is it acceptable? Maybe with close friends but in a chat room I don’t think it is.
For my part, I don’t consider it acceptable especially as Welsh is supposedly a well respected reg.
Considering the amount of dodgy jokes told in the chatroom I would question why you had to pick on this one, wouldnt it have been better to have informed a guide or followed the procedure for complaints instead of singling out one particular person. :?
