You say you get bored easily..my advice to you then is dont get a pet. Its not fair on the animal to be cast aside and forgotten about when the novelty wears off. It might sound harsh, but im just giving you some sensible advice.

    Thanks pebbles
    Truth is I love animals
Thats why I need to give serious consideration to what i choose to get
Used to get the kids pets when they were younger
    but thing is
i think i got them more for me
I certainly ended up caring for them and I was one who shed more than a tear when they died (usually from old age)

    aww di x

well what about a canary or a chincilla, or a budgie?

They will get into your heart and require a lot (but not as much as some) attention?

well the spending has stopped. only those that can actually afford are spending hence the crunch.

yes we were all stupid but at the same time stupidly encouraged by a government endorsed financial institution.

the worst cases we are seeing are those who are private tenants.

the pay their rent on time every month to their landlords, but the landlords arent passing it on to the mortgage lenders.

the first the tenants know about it is normally when the bailiffs visit giving them 7 days to get out and they aint got a legal leg to stand on.

Its not always individuals either, sometimes they are long term tenants with families and the owner of the house has re-mortgaged for a silly amount but guaranteed it on that property.

    more homeless people.

and all encouraged under the government.

who would have thought when we was growing up that a company likr Barclays would go crawling on their knees to the government?

And what about those near pension age who got wrongly advised endowment mortgages only to find out they are gonna have to work a further decade to make up the shortfall to meet their mortgage and pensions?

that could be me and you one day Sian…. scary thought innit.

yep, but where do respectable banks get off offering 125% mortgages to people who can barely afford it?

The spokesmen for that corner said “we’d rather people borrowed on one loan so they can furnish rather than borrow extra on credit cards etc”, and as for self certificate wages signatures…. what a bloody mess!

yes irresponsible borrowing, but when did the government step in to stop irresponsible lending??

Im sick of my job….. seeing more and more people losing their homes, and for once its not tenants playing the system, its legitimate people who strive. It doesnt make it easier to deal with, it makes it damn hard. I bloody hate it.
