Thank God.
Someone finally, despite all the overflowing and instantly forgettable excrement that abounds in this place ( typed by those who daily proclaim their pre-eminent qualifications to expel such detritus from their rear ends),
actually granted valuable seconds out of their life to post something sensible.
4 December, 2011 at 11:34 pm #484131Slightly disappointed.
I thought this would be about the Real World of jc. . . . . . . . .

That’s because your brain is writing cheques that your posting can’t cash.
Easy mistake to make though
23 November, 2011 at 9:53 pm #482046I do.
I feel really bullied thin.
My self-confidence is shot and I need to take large amounts of steroids before dealing with the one, empty, wheely bin on collection day.Why ? can you help me ?
I’m in pieces here .23 November, 2011 at 9:39 pm #483427yeah, give Ireland back back to the Irish !
(oh . . . . . . do excuse me, completely wrong thread . . . . . . . . every now and again I will insist on living in 1973, amidst regular city bombings by the provos…… which is a shame, I actually tried those rhinestoned bell-bottoms on last night and nearly almost reached my knees !)
:D/ :D/Can’t say I was ever a fan of Linda McCartney though.
Know that she was a member of the incredibly rich Kodak family and could nearly, almost, nearly, play a tambourine, almost, in tune on Band on the Run. Bless her, I thought Mozart had somehow reconstituted himself in the shape of a Beatles’ groupie.
Shut up Toy, she died of cancer.
ok I’ve digressed too far now.
Even I realise that, and will patiently wait for rubyred to rescue me
23 November, 2011 at 8:54 pm #483424You’re very similar to a regular (alas long gone) poster called sharongooner.
She loved the boards but always stayed out of rooms, and who can blame her, unless it was the old radio quiz we used to have in forum 3 when we could actually listen to each other . . . =D> . . . . .
I always gave her massive bonus points for supporting the Arsenal, and the rest I generally put up with……… 8)
I adore Yorkshire
23 November, 2011 at 8:41 pm #413888I guessed you didn’t Mrs T but let’s not get hung up on the small print.
You copy/pasted and generally contributed wonderfully

Yes, I’m a female. I push doors that clearly say PULL. I laugh harder when I try to explain why I’m laughing. I walk into a room and forget why I was there. I count on my fingers. I hide pain from my loved ones. I say it is a long story, when it really is not, just to get out of having to tell it. I cry a lot more than you think I do. I care about people who don’t care about me. I am strong because I have to be, not because I want to be. I listen to you, even when you dont listen to me. And a hug will always help. Yes, I am a GIRL!!!!
I like that :)
me too pols.
She’s boring but real.
That was a great post and ‘real’ will always earn more than interest.:D

no one here gets bullied.
Of course not.
You will always get people acting as bullies on chat sites, which is a bit silly, as they only proclaim their own hidden, internal, never-quite-realised victim status and then you start to wonder about them. Dagger was always my favourite , and great fun he was to play with too, but I’ve not see anyone posting like that here for bloody yonks.
The nearest I suppose would be thin ice which is more like a repetitive whine that you can use to bore yaself to sleep, or a droning fly easily swatted in real-time chat. Victims allowing themselves to be victims is completely another matter.
But the best thing is that these places are an equal playing ground for all, especially those maybe lacking in confidence . . . . . Nobody should be intimidated, or to get caught up in that having the last word rubbish, and ALL have the right to their post, and to say what they want.
And for that I’m glad it’s not like pre-internet days.
