I doubt anyone who actively contributes to a message board does as some things they will write WILL be their own views, some of which will be fledgling ones, some fairly solidly in place, some passionately believed and some brainwashed into their heads by parental indoctrination, social indoctrination and media influences

Then others will be theorised half ideas they want to kick around to see how they float and stand up to scrutiny, some will be the views of other people which ARE still a vaild perspective with a right to be added to a discussion even if borrowed and yet others will be epitomal paradigms used to show either the flaws in logic, contradiction, innaccuracy or unrealistic application of a view thats already been expressed

And yet others will be socially driven, only put forward to oppose someone disliked, support someone who is liked or to slime up the gusset of someone fancied

So how much of anything anyone ever says is really in the true and total meaning of the word “believed” by them on places like this?

All of that aside tho, it doesnt really matter is what someone posts is believed by them

A balanced debate or discussion is only thusly so with a myriad of views and perspectives from all extremes and the centre, often many views wont be represented by anyone taking part in a debate some of which might even be important or integral ones. So what does it really matter who posts what and whether it is or isnt their own view? If its not someone else could just have likely come along and posted the exact same thing anyway so the source is totally irrelevant and only has any importance to people who think they can get a measure of someone based on a few words on a screen (which invariably is an innacurate self absorbed delusional illusion btw), or so they can then use it later to further either a personal dislike or slime chute face massaging sort of attraction

So in short whether a view is someones own or not isnt important, even asking if it is, is a bit of an eroneous question as people do fib you know lol and the fun to be had from watching what transient conclusions an irrelevant someone can arrive at by nudging them hither and tither can be quite hysterical at times

But someone being curious about such things is a far more interesting thing as it can hint towards some quite varied personality traits, issues, thought patterns, agendas and methods of associative cognition

As for social services here, the country they are in classes leaving children under 10 alone as a crime often punishable with jail, I think we should have a similar law here really called “Maddies law”

I also think they are deliberately putting off returning to the UK, but not because of social services tho, I think its either because of not wanting to face family and friends, not wanting to face the reaction they will get from people who recognise them on the street and still possibly because if it turns out they had something more than negligence to do with it they will be in jail, but whilst abroad they could possibly try to claim asylum or run to a country without an extradition treaty

Infact many of the fdemale psychologists and authors have extremely pro feminist and even outright misandrist slants on this topic as many of the male authors and psychologists have an equally opposing near or outright misogynist slant

But a good book which nips around the edges of this topic and many other sexually related ones with a more balanced viewpoint is stiffed by susan faludi, herself a former feminist who stopped using the term as did many others when feminism stopped representing equality and started to seek superiority by the systematic demonisation of men

one such variant is an account I read in a case file of a rapist who chose his victims by how slutty they looked working on the thought pattern that they had “obviously” in his mind gone out to get laid, hadnt done so he almost thought he was doing them a favour

Mixed in with that was his past sexual history where he had first got into the concept of rape because several of his ex’s were quite into BDSM and fantasised about rape meaning he willingly went along with those role plays

So his entire attempt at rationalising the act was they were “clearly” out for sex but hadnt got any, they “probably” fantasised about the eroticism of being raped and therefore although they appeared to protest and resist could quite possibly have been having a fantasy fullfilled and as they were (in his eyes) sluts anyway from their attire and how they were behaving on a night out one more bloke shagging them wouldnt have been a big deal like it would have been to a more decent woman

So where does that fit into your synopsis? Because that sort of thinking is far from a rare one and most certainly isnt the only one that doesnt conform to the rather narrow pick list being claimed as the ONLY reasons, but cases like that, or certainly the details of them arent the ones that are picked to be scrutinised widely funnily enough as they dont support the conclusion thats wanted to be reached
