I would say that its potentially of “help” to the kids of parents who might were this never criticised have done the exact same thing

A better question is by NOT discussing it could it potentially make it more likely that harm would come to MORE kids because their parents were more inclined to do the same thing

The chance of such a public criticism of what some parents appear to think is “acceptable” parenting making a parent think twice and be more responsible is surely more valid than your discomfort considering you could quite easily cure your discomfort by choice seeing as you cause it by reading a thread time and time again that you have already said YOU dont want to see

But yeah, its quite potentially “help” to other kids who could be abducted and killed because their parents might otherwise have thought as the Mcanns did, nothing is ever learnt or altered after an occurence by castigating it to some unspoken silence after all is it?

And what harm would be done by you just not reading the thread and letting the people who DO wish to discuss it and voice their views and opinions to do so without an incessant bemoaning of it? Putting that aside tho for a moment, as I wouldnt even see a problem with deformed or disabled babies being put down after birth couldnt really give a toss if people chose to abort their babies as late as the week they were to be born I cant really see what miracle of view alteration youre deludedly expecting to get from me as the topic of abortion is in my mind such a trivial and thoroughly unimportant insignificant act I am never likely to get het up about it

Infact personally I the only real solution I think is workable is compulsory steralisation of all women over 12 with them and their partners then having to apply two years in advance to breed and in that two years having to undergo rigourous testing to ensure they are fit to be allowed to breed AND can support the child

So as thats never likely to happen I think we need more rather than less abortions and it doesnt matter what ridiculous name you call it, infact call it genocide if you like. Renaming something that already has a name doesnt to anyone but morons alter what the thing is

A foetus IS scientifically just a collection of cells, nothing more, it has no awareness, cognition or sentience and therefore isnt by any definition “human” merely a collection of human cells

So again taking THAT as the definition of your parody of “murder” cutting hair is murder, clipping toe nails is murder, amputating a limb is murder, removing an organ is murder and removing a tumour is murder as ALL of those are ALSO a collection of human biomatter that is alive under scientific definitions until “aborted”

The medical definition of when a foetus becomes a “human” is the point where even with intensive care it CAN exist outside of the gestation pouch, until then its merely cells

Each dies when not party to a fertilisation, and each COULD have developed into a baby

So following your rather eroneous reasoning, both eggs and sperm individually fall into the same life classification as a foetus, they are non sentient collections of cells that live in biological definitions

So, as they have the propensity to mature into a person in the same way the collection of organic mush called a foetus does then everytime a bloke wanks or a woman ovulates but doesnt conceive thats murder

Well in such unevolved viewpoints I most certainly DO advocate murder

Infact by the same measure you commit murder everytime you take antibiotics to cure an illness, you would be committing murder everytime you wash with antibacterial soap, you would be committing murder should you ever, god forbid have to have cancer treated

Infact unless youre a vegetarian your party to murder everytime you eat meat, and murder of a far more sophisticated and evolved form of life than a foetus is most of the time when aborted

Well I wouldnt call it murder as its in most cases no more developed than a cancerous growth is and is just a collection of cells with as much awareness as a cancerous growth

But even if it is murder so what?

Its socially accepted and where two “entities” rights conflict one has to be chosen to take priority, and where the decision is between a group of cells less advanced than a tadpole and a fully grown person I dont think its difficult to decide who should take precedence

Infact I wouldnt really bat an eyelid if it was made compulsory for known disabled foetuses as I have never understood the point in letting malformed or barely functional people be born to begin with

I doubt many if any people “agree” with it as such, not even the people who DO use it frequently

But many realities of modern life arent things people can “agree with” but that doesnt make them worth disagreeing with nor does it make stopping them happening a better alternative either

Avoiding the need for them to be chosen in the first place would be the better option and the only improvement to the current situation, but thats a problem nobody has the solution to and the solutions that would work could never be introduced in such a cancerously left wing nanny state so like it or loathe it repeated abortions for the VERY small percentage that have them is the best long term solution to the post”dick”ament (lol :lol: :wink: )
