Do you want to live a more low-carbon lifestyle, but are unsure where to start?
Tread lightly is a community of people committed to reducing their CO2 emissions through making weekly pledges and recording their actions against their pledges.
This will enable people to step up their efforts to reduce their own CO2 emissions, and also to track the combined efforts of the community.
How to get involved
We are starting with an easy pledge – asking users to switch to energy-efficient lightbulbs. You can choose your level of commitment for each pledge – light, medium or heavy user.
Each week, on a Friday, there will be a new pledge, such as turning appliances off standby, washing clothes at a lower temperature or using the car less frequently. You can also suggest pledges you think the community should make on our blog.
i am sick and bloody tired of having eco this, and eco that,rammed down my neck and being made to feel guilty for breathing, or having the nerve to put yer central heating on. ffs when are you lot ever gunna give it a rst ! we all do our own bit in our own way. but its getting sooooo god damned boring now.everything you do contributes to the death or destruction of the eco forest, and yet we are bombarded daily with leaflets and brochures. that we neither want nor need.

my dad was an aussie. from cuber petrie ? hope i spelled it right. ive always wanted to come to oz but never had the money. my brother has been there several times he loves it.
we have talked about retiring in oz but were only in our 40s yet and lots can happen in a little time. but id love it im sure.looking forward to..

BARKIN THE LOT OF EM.im damned sure that if i , or one of you posted a ministers bank details along with passwords on the net they would have the law all over us. that is why these women should sue. whatever they do with the money ? not my business. the government have left millions of folk at the mercy of the cheapest postal service they could employ. i wonder if gordon and co would be so flippant with their own security.
and more to the point. if they can cock it up this big with our personal details, how the hell are they suposed to be looking after our physical safety,or have they given terrorist cells free rein by letting them in on where to bomb us best. how many police officers details are on those discs.? how many soldiers addresses.? how many risks have this government taken with this balls up. let alone the fact that if these details got into the hands of paedophiles, carers of foster children left wide open to these perverts turning up to see little tommy after all these months of looking for him. its not unimaginable.it happened i newcastle years ago when case files were copied and passed tp perverts. this realy isnt something to look at as a bit of an inconvenience. it could well end very badly. or on the other hand the discs could be found at the bottom of a pile of letters somewhere.morrisey talks like a twat. he always has and always will, hes gone from the facist left to the mid ground labour, and all the while living abroad. although i think in this case he said what he percieved the problems to be as opposed to saying it was his own opinion.
i went to questiontime a few years ago it was a great night. the questions are picked before filming and you have to write why you want to ask the question. but they are carefully vetted lest anyone be offended. it airs a hour after filming, so occasionally they do get someone shouting at them but its rare.
ive got a spare bike pump in the garage….. :lol: :lol: :lol:
