I’m no fan of guns but after recent events a few women are ordering umarex t4e hdr 50 pistol.  I’ve seen a few this week. A group of women were target shooting on the beach.  They sell for under £140 and legal in the UK.

I think if your seen in public with this thing armed Police will turn up and shoot you.

Would it fit in a hand bag?…. well it seems too. Will it stop an attacker?  Oh yea this thing really hurts and a well aim shot to the groin will stop any man.  It looks so real even just pointing at someone would stop them.

I understand the fear behind buying this pistol. If you live alone or work late & come home alone these are worrying times.

Are they a good idea?  Hmmm…. guns give a false sense of security.  A good self defence class mite be better.  Then again if your alone at home and someone broke in a few shoots would make them run.   They make a shot gun version of this that’s really loud and fire’s two shots.

    Would I buy one?

I think this comes down to age.  If your a pensioner or a young woman or been burgle before yes. These kind of things would empower you & make you feel more secure at home.  And I think you’d get in a lot less trouble than whacking someone with a baseball bat.   After all this is a good visual deterrent.

Dangerous in your hands because you are well known for shooting prematurely

    Fishy

There appears to be no end to the utter shite you’re peddling in this forum.  Hand guns were generally banned in this country after Dunblane. Your ‘pretend’ gun gets us back on the slippery slope. ‘You shoot plastic, I’ll shoot lead’  Violent attacks on women have significantly decreased over the years. Don’t use a few high profile cases to support your crap in promoting a paintball gun. What matters is that criminals are caught and heavily sentenced so would-be criminals foresee the consequences of their actions. This world is never perfect but you’ve just emphasised what makes you an egotistic twat.

No plumbing work again today fishy?

Hmm… well that’s not really happening is it?

Outside London with its ring of cctv and systems designed to deal with terror attacks…. the Police’s main role is public order. And if you’re attacked… its going to be a good 10 min or longer  until they arrive due to traffic.  If your attacker left the area they wont send anyone, only interviewing you in a&e later.  Most cases never make it to court due to lack of witness or people refusing come forwards.

Burglars for the most part are opportunists.  Few would break into a house with a dog on the lose; first sign of trouble and there gone.

Addicts are different, there stealing to feed a habit. A dog wont stop them or even an alarm.  All you can do to stop them is play on there own paranoia.

Sex attackers are a mix of both: opportunists & feeding a sick habit.

    How would you stop them?

I know these “paint ball guns” will only give you a nasty bruise, but that’s the point: non lethal force.  I can think of many ways of killing a person from cross bows to slingshots.  All can be purchased legally in the UK.

9 times out of 10 the criminal will assault his victim before she can even lay a hand on her ‘defence weapon’. The attacker finds it and uses it on the victim in his rage. I think you’d better try living in the real world rather than the imaginary one that has infested your brain.  When someone carries a ‘legal’ gun intended to be a weapon to defend themselves that’s illegal.

What would I do ?  I’d send them to a penal colony and let them rot. You see, it’s a cultural thing. Every tolerance of litter, fly tipping, casual abuse in the street or on a train, violent video games, social fucking media, running county lines – we’re drowning in a sea of shite. It all builds up into a society that is apathetic to petty crime and which breeds more violent crime. Be it a deprived childhood, no fatherly role model, whatever, Politicians talk big and deliver nowt for the forgotten class. And you think you can bat back those issues with a pop gun.

    Prove it

No need to prove anything to a twat.

Take your stupid bebe gun and stuff it in your woodburner.

And it’s not legal to carry one in the UK. To carry something like that it would need to be “two tuned” so when Mr rapid response policeman turns up he don’t he can she it’s not real so there’s no need for him to put a bullet in your head with his Glock pistol or Heckler and Koch rifle. And even if it was two toned Mr Policeman wouldn’t like it being waved in a public place.
