Aspects of britishness dont appear in the quran, i.e the consumption of alcohol, having sex with the same sex etc. No such thing as a gay muslim. There are gay people who want to be muslim, muslims who want to be british, but they cant be.

So Emma, your entire blanket denial of any Muslim to be “true British” is based on the fact that their religion doesnt allow them to drink or have gay sex- succintly thereby summarising the entire British character as rum and sodomy!
Using your clearly valuable and correct principles, Methodists cant be “true British” (its the drink you know) nor can Catholics (it’s the sodomy).
The English nation (and thereby the Welsh and Scottish) spent 400 years fighting the catholic cause and Im glad Emma you’ve come out and agreed they should have no place in our society and are not “British”- actually Emma Catholics dont bother me but the argument you use for Muslims is the same argument thats been around for centuries, only the religion changes
