I have had to pay for my nic for another 2 yrs because someone may ‘nic’ it, as they have done before, to my detriment.
I, now, no longer want to go into the lobby (like so many others), apart from early mornings, because it is biaTchy and back-biting, and quite frankly, I don’t like it. If you are ‘in’ it is ok, if you aren’t it is very apparent. Not interested. I have made a few m8’s through it tho’ which is great.
I feel the same anc. Don’t wanna go in – too many really nasty people. and JC does nothing about it.
Well anc we have a giggle and it is no doubt the best time to be in

Some of us are perfectly decent and pleasant in chat. Like all the people who have posted so far.
Some people who like an argument can be frustrating sometimes, but they don’t get hateful to their fellow posters or chatters. There are even people who can’t stand each other, but normally rub along OK with the odd outburst, cos that’s how life is. You can’t like everyone.
Ah but the people you like, the ones who get on your wick a bit, and the ones you can do without are all OK really.
Unfortunately past all those bearable people, there are also the professional abusers, who think jc is a place to work out their own person inadequacies on other people and spread hatred. Even better they usually say they are just defending themselves or their friends!
We shouldn’t let the gits take over the whole world, anc. F**k ’em. We have as much right to it as them.

Well , i certainly don’t consider myself to be ‘ in’ . I just try to get on with everyone , unfortunately there are one or two , who seem intent on mouthing off and generally disrupting the room , particularly in the evenings . we can’t all like , and get on with the same people.
However, i do see what you are saying anc.. i am as annoyed as you when more and more , the same trouble makers disrupt and spoil the room , time after time, get booted , and are still allowed to come back!
We will now, of course , be told that we do all have an iggy button … and mine is certainly getting used more and more . which is fine- But the abusers Still go on , even after being told that they are on iggy – so it still disrupts the room. Madness ! There are only so many times you can sit and see abuse typed in by drunken and/or nasty chatters though .
Apparently there are more guides than there ever used to be …. But, i have yet to see that having them , has made any difference .
