We now live in an age of new weird and wonderful words…most are a combination of 2 words…so my new favourite word I heard on the radio the other day…a guest on Radio 5Live rang in and used the word
Cargument….she said they like to have a good argument in the car away from the kids lol

The term for this is ‘Portmanteau’ (a good word in itself).
The term portmanteau was first used by Humpty Dumpty in Lewis Carroll’s Through the Looking Glass:
“Well, ‘slithy’ means “lithe and slimy” and ‘mimsy’ is “flimsy and miserable”. You see it’s like a portmanteau—there are two meanings packed up into one word.”
Interestingly, the word portmanteau itself is also a blend of two different words: porter (to carry) and manteau (a cloak).
Portmanteau words are extremely popular in modern-day English and new word combinations are regularly popping up, here are just a mere few for example;
affluenza (affluence/influenza)
bodacious (bold/audacious)
bromance (brother/romance)
craptacular (crap/spectacular)
One of my outright favourites is ‘Opporchancity’, you know… Because you can’t have a chance without an opportunity…. Or an opportunity without a chance.

FREAKZOID is a great American word, it should be used more often here.
No doubt a few guests will use this word now, in an attempt to clone me.

If any one takes Koan’s wimmen thing too seriously then in my opinion…they got a real problem with being a woman….well that’s wimmen for you…LMAO RATF PML….
