Lung cancer patients who are to be denied Tarceva, are now the latest victims of Gordon Brown’s love affair with the Barnett Formula, which ensures that England gets minimal funding for healthcare, compared with his own country, Scotland.
Where are England’s MPs in all of this? Why aren’t they speaking out on behalf of their sick and dying constituents? Why do they consider an English life to be of lesser value than a Scottish life? It seems the whole of Westminster is collectively guilty of institutionalised manslaughter, by way of their silence and complicity in the national discrimination of England’s most needy citizens. I for one will be making the effort to attend the May Day protest in London, where I will be demanding fairness and equality for all the people in England. If you remain silent while others around you are being condemned to death by stealth, then it won’t be long before Gordon Brown comes calling at our your door, too. Who then will be left to speak out for you?

England’s nurses are now to follow England’s teachers and be paid a lower rate than their Scottish counterparts, which was designed to attract teachers from other parts of Britain. It appears the government are in the practice of asset stripping England in the form of our professionals, which is another form of the Celtgeld, aka The Barnett Formula. The British government are simply not fit for purpose and the main architect of this discrimination is due to become England’s next ruler. Heaven help us all in England.

There are a massive amount of stories like this. This government doesn’t believe in the country namely England, and the country men and women of England, namely the English. They will bring us to our knees, UNLESS you WAKE UP and start demanding change.

YOU have been warned. GET INVOLVED!!!

    YOU decide YOUR future.

all the more for scotland to take the route of indapendance then that would sort out the whole debate about the formula. For years now labour has been sything in off our natural resouses out of the mouths of the scottish people.
If ireland can stand on ther eown 2 feet then we can, plus id go as far to come right out of tthe eu.how is it that Ireland is the 4th richest country intheu and norway is the richest in the eu and thats not in the club of the european countries.
so in four years time when we see that the scottish national party can run the country just as well if not better that the buracracy that goes
on down in the Westminster village. The cocepy of new labour is a joke they have become so totalatarian its unreal.you think you are living in a democracy then you are nuts…………………………………………………………………

Scotland get everything quicker than us. they have free nursery care and elderly care for over a decade.

The Scottish parliament choose to spend their money on healthcare and education in terms of pay and provision BUT Emma and Sharon, looking at the whole picture in healthcare what is their provision on cardiac related support (with the highest rate of coronary heart disease on Western Europe, you;d think they have the best facilities wouldn’t you), the estates infrastructure of hospitals and schools, the level of investment in oncological research (cancer stduy, also a huge killer in Scotland) etc etc etc

I do not deny for a single second that pay for nurses is higher in Scotland but if you take little chunks out of a jigsaw, you dont get the full picture. And I’m not even a Labour supporter ffs.

I dont disagree that Scottish MP’s should not vote on SOLELY English matters in the House of Commons and that will come eventually

It would be most interesting if Scotland achieved a ‘devolution’ from England. For starters the Labour party would find itself in huge difficulties, as Scotland is at present represented almonst entirely by Labour MPs.

PB- the one reason Labour will not allow English constituent MP’s only to vote is that England is currently a majority conservative country (party with most votes received in England at last election was conservative).

The loss of Scots and Welsh MP’s votes on key issues would virtually guarrantee a hung parliament for England at the very least.

Good innit, we English have to thank the Scots and Welsh for a Labour government!

Hee hee hee – I know. That point had not entirely escaped me when I argued vociferously a while ago FOR Scottish devolution. That would sink the Socialists and their New Labour lackeys in one go.

Apart from anything else, it would save the ENGLISH taxpayers a load of money if the Scots had to be financially self-sufficient.

Oh and before they bleat on about seizing all North Sea oil revenues, don’t forget that a lot of the output is technically in Shetland territorial waters – NOT Scottish – and the Shetlanders don’t want to have anything to do with devolution, much less a bunch of half-arsed drunken Scottish layabouts.

So if (please God) devolution becomes a reality, the Scots are going to find things a wee bit more difficult financially than they imagine.

BTW – Does anybody agree that Alex Salmond looks like a salmon???
