The quote button is a useful feature, but am I the only one who thinks it’s over-used? It is necessary to quote people at times, e.g if there’s a need to remind someone of what they posted, or if someone goes back on what they have written etc, but c’mon peeps, it isn’t necessary to to quote someone when you are replying hot-on-the-heels of their post, as what they have written is close behind your reply, and it’s easily seen by others.

It gets on my tits when it starts of with one person quoting another, then someone else jumps in by quoting them both, then another and another, and we end up with with the same stuff repeated umpteen times on the one page.

Please peeps, try using a bit of copying and pasting instead, some quotation marks, and even highlighting things in colour.

I expected people to do this, but if a few people take note, I’ll be content with that. At least Soulie agrees with me.
