4.2 million CCTV cameras track our movement.

Many political analysts, even Labour supporters, claim Gordon Brown is a dictator.

Have we stepped over the line of no return into an Orwellian state?

If we have, our freedoms become less and less, it happens gradually, bit by bit.

You might think that the smoking ban has credibility through health, but smoking could’ve been banned via the owners of a business as CHOICE. That choice has been taken away, and not by blair, but by the PM in waiting.

Only today, Dictator Brown has publicly stood by his decision for the current 2 illegal wars, despite heckles. Infact, a woman was ejected very swifly by Dictator Brown’s thug helpers.

Over the last 10 years, the so-called New Labour policy of “bringing us together via multiculturalism” has actually divided us.

There is little community spirit now, we are weak when divided, and it makes it easier to control us.

There is massive voter apathy, we just dont feel theres anyone worth voting for, “there all the same” is the phrase often said.

Whether you like me or not, i urge you to take-in what is happening, because EVEN if you’ve been a die hard Labour voter all your life, YOU will become a victim, and all our lives will be an Orwellian nightmare.

Just a min, theres a knock at my door…

Yesterday a leading policeman joined civil rights campaigners in branding the spread of CCTV cameras an “Orwellian situation“.

Ian Redhead, deputy chief constable of Hampshire, voiced his concerns that sleepy towns and villages were wasting valuable resources on spy cameras.

Singling out the town of Stockbridge in his area, where parish councillors have paid £10,000 to install CCTV, he said: “I’m really concerned about what happens to the product of these cameras, and what comes next.

“If it’s in our villages, are we really moving towards an Orwellian situation where cameras are at every street corner? I really don’t think that’s the kind of country that I want to live in.”

There are now about four million CCTV cameras in Britain, giving people a chance of being caught on film a staggering 300 times a day.

If the police themselves fear that Big Brother is taking over, is it time to take a serious look at how such surveillance measures are used, and whether they work?

How did we go from CCTV cameras to the smoking ban? Personally, I’m in favour of both. So what if I’m recorded for a few seconds while I walk down the street? It wouldn’t ruin my day in the slightest. Our new system in the town was responsible for the detection of 200 incidents last year which may have otherwise gone unreported or unsolved. You’d be hard pressed to find anyone round here – criminals and druggies aside – who doesn’t agree.

Yes, Big Brother is watching. But for my money, Big Brother does more good than bad. Some abuse the system but there a lot of people in a lot of jobs who do the same.
