…Well thats your opinion Bat … least myself and a few friends tried to reopen Forum 4 to get away from name changers .. didnt see you join in !!
It was even welcomed by some of the Guides on JC !!
Anyway we all seem to be distracting from the main question here !!
Why are offensive names allowed in ? Surely those are the type to boot not ppl just having a bit of a laugh ?
As for ramblings you obviously cant make reasonable judgements on ppl you dont know Bat !!!
Also it wasnt all that long ago you asked me how you could be in a forum in more then 1 name !! Think a clear case of calling the kettle black here !!!Bunny I have no need to get away from name changers, I,m sure you appreciate it really makes no difference to me whether people change their nics or not does it? And as for re opening forum 4, I wasnt aware it had been closed. Offensive names arnt “allowed” in Bunny..if there is a guide about they will be swiftly sent to forum 5. And what are you rambling on about me asking you how a person could be in a forum in more than one name? You,ve lost me. :? :? :?

Slayer, I was thinking more like the collar Arnie wore in one of his films where the head blew up if they went too far.
Seriously though, if a dog bit your child you could have it destroyed but when societies most vulnerable is harmed by societies least wanted we do nothing and then try to re-hab these people.
How many times does this have to happen for us to finally realise that these type of individuals cannot be tamed or trusted and that they serve no purpose in our free world, we know that many who are abused go on to be the abuser so isn’t it time we cut the vicious circle.
I’ve never spoken to anyone who thinks re-habbing these people is a good idea but there must be someone out there who could let us know the reasons why we do.That was in the running man jelly where he wore the collar round his neck. Excellent idea.  Rehab? I,ll give em rehab. Re-open Alcatraz. Give em a drafty old cell so they get arthritis,a matress an inch thick, one itchy old blanket, a pot to p*** in and tescos value bread and water three times a day.(lumpy prison porridge if ther,e really good) A nice cold shower once a week, that,ll rehabilitate em in no time. let a few great white sharks loose in the sea, then if they ever think about trying to escape and make a swim for it……

Well im 1st to admit i change my name sometimes but always in a friendly and jovial way !!
Also like many women use as protection against abuse, and im sure im not the only 1 to do that !!
My name is registered and i agree we should all stick to 1 name.
Can I make a point though in my defence? Why on earth are some of the offensive names ever allowed in , in the 1st place?
Im a great believer in the ignore button , but sadly not everyone uses it, and if i do go in as i say its always in a light hearted way and never offensive !!Your a great beleiver in the ignore button?? PFFFFTTTTT!!!! Well apart from Owens ramblings thats the second biggest bit of garbage I,ve read today.! How many times have I told you to just use your iggy button Bunny..eh? But noooooooooo, you just love a bloody good row as much as the all the “clique” and you dive in with your 2 pence worth all the time!! You never use yours!! Your far too interested in whats going on to do that. Jesus…I,ve heard it all now.

i had the same problem. mine was down to blueyonders instant support tool, so i uninstalled it. i know it’s prob not much help, but sometimes it’s nice to know you’re not the only one :D
Ahhhhhhhh Andy you may just have hit the nail on the head there. That BT help icon appears in my task bar when that happens. But why do it now? Maybe I,ll uninstall that then and see if that stops it. Very weird. I,m glad these things dont just happen to me. Thanks.

My new IE7 installed this morning with no problem atall. Now however when my pc starts up I get this message:
“The procedure entry point Get processing file nameW could not be located in the dynamic link to library PSAPI DLL.”
What in the name of Christ does that mean in English please? And more to the point why am I getting it? It doesnt affect anything, I just havnt a clue what it is.The problem is something to do with Motive SmartBridge.

> Run
Type msconfig

Untick the box next to Motive SmartBridge and/or mpbtn.exe

Reboot system.
When you reboot your pc you’ll get a message along the lines of You have used selective startup blah blah. Check the box Do Not Show This Message Again, and you should be OK.Or you could…
> My Computer
> Program Files
> Sprint…
> Smart…
Find PSAPI.DLL and rename it to something like PSAPIOLD.DLL
Reboot the system.Info here.
Ok Owen thanks I,ll try all that. What I still want to know though is, what exactly is it, and why have I suddenly got it and what is it,s function in life? I never had it before I downloaded IE7 and all of a sudden I have it. :? :?
