Against, definately. No excuse nor reason. If Foxes need controlling, then it’s better done by professionals than toffs in fancy dress poncing about the countryside.
Not sure about that view how more professional can you get, than people who have done the job for life, people tend to say there are alternatives to pest control in the wild but nobody ever states the alternatives, seems that you too are more against the people who you percieve to go hunting rather than hunting the fox?

One argument i have is my BEST friends boyfriend expects her to mingle with his mates but he wont with hers. I hardly know him because we have nothing at all in common, my best frind is happy so i am happy for her but he has changed her, she has aged before her time. She isnt allowed to swear or her tells her off, instead he has given her words to use like nuts, crackers, crazy and my fave of all potty! All his frineds are 40+ again i have no problem with this just i would like to know my best friends boyfriend/father of my god daughter.
I dont think these things are just age related some things sound quite controling and my relationship is nothing like that, we mostly have mutual friends, you do find that friends change when in a serious relationship regardless of age, my friend has moved in with someone her own age and I never see her anymore, I think people just get wrapped up it what they are doing day to day, they have someone else to consider not just themselves any more.

^^^ what she said, and also if a dog gets an infection or has a tumour thats not detectable then the cute cuddly family pet can suddenly turn. Plenty of stories out there that say how family pets suddenly attack because of something thats gone undetected. Even family pets that have no track record can suddenly turn on a small child.
The statement reffered to a whole breed of dog being savage, a whole race being the same which is ignorant, agreed animals can have illnesses etc but surely thats not restricted to one particular breed?

The rotweiller story is absolutely ridiculous, they refer to the breed as savage, any dog can be trained to kill, these dogs make great family pets and it is only human interferance yet again that turns them into savage animals, how ignorant.
ignorant !!!! TRY telling that to the couple that had to bury their daughter with a face veil on as she had no face !! her crime ? walking passed a pair of “family” pets.
Yet again you totally brush past my point, the statement reffered to a particular breed of dog being savage, not one dog in particular but a whole race, thats ignorant. Yes its very sad and sickening that a child should be killed I agree.

24 July, 2006 at 10:27 am #232182Great response all Im in a relationship with an older man and I have the same concerns with reference to the relationship ending too early due to my partners age, it worries me quite alot, because I get on so well with him we are best friends, and no amount of searching would find me the same again.

Yeah, I agree Holistic. It is difficult to justify one and not t’other. I eat meat but, then again, I couldn’t give a toss about foxes either. Hope this helps. :D
Yeah thanks pikey I dont mind people who eat meat or people who kill animals thats a choice but I mind people who use one set of rules for one thing and another for everything else, as with most things in life we change the rules to suit ourselves.

because the question was what we THOUGHT of fox hunting !!!! I, like many others GAVE an opinion and now YOU attempt to twist it.
go salve yer concscience elsewhere turkey woman :)
How on earth could I twist your opinion?? I ask anyone who gives an opinion to back it up and it would appear that you cant you dont answer my questions but instead say I twist your opinion, in essence you are masking your ability to debait this issue because really you dont give a damn about animals or foxes you just have opinions about the ‘types of people’ who take part in country pursuits. You have also attacked me by mentioning a very personal issue that I wanted to share with people about my turkeys, it would seem very much as I guessed in the first place that anti’s have double standards.
