You are quite right they are pretty useful Soulie but still not as reliable as a burnt cd. If its a bog standard burn you cant do anything with the stuff on the cd. However the pen drives you can. At work pen drives have replaced floppys for us with more capabilities of carrying work about. But should not be trusted entirely, should have something else.
Monkey agrees with Morty, a good firewall will stop any other access that you might get when acessing a downloading stuff or the attachments you dont want from em.
