I dispute the fact that you have somehow inferred that. I’ve said no such thing.
Someone smoking five hits of crack cocaine daily will die far quicker than someone drinking five pints.
Whether that is a fair comparison dose / unit wise, I could not say.
If we could experiment with equal dosages, The Lancet suggests alcohol would be more harmful.

That random graph means nothing, no context no link and no other information. If you presented that and only that (like you have) as “evidence” in academic circles you would be laughed out of the building.
Academics in this field already know alcohol is at least as harmful as heroin is.

“Graph of harmful drugs” in google.
You will get more hits than you can care to go through, from a whole variety of sources. All the graphs will have alcohol on top or close to the top.

Of course I’m not.
I am suggesting that you present a very compelling case as to why heroin should not be encouraged to minors. That equally applies to alcohol, which is my point. I really don’t want to give my kids heroin or alcohol. I give them neither for the same reasons.
Would you rather a good bonk, or a good drink / spliff / line of coke?
If encouraging your 15 year old to have a “few” Vodkas is acceptable, then it must be equally acceptable to encourage them to have a “few” hits of something less harmful like Heroin, Crack or tobacco. Cannabis is as we see much less harmful than vodka.
I have no intention of encouraging any youths (or adults) to do any of the above.
Not all youths live in nice areas. Many youths have only the above. Well adjusted 15 year olds can be trusted behind closed doors in my house.
