Sadly Owen this is exactly what they have become – an elected dictatorship. Our daily diet now consists of spin, and outright lies interspersed with financial scandals and ministerial wrongdoing. They are acknowledged world experts in the black arts of spin and media management to the total detriment of truth.
It would appear that the ‘Dear Leader’ is shortly to go forth and become the leader of another failed musical group. Sadly it seems that he in currently presiding over the forthcoming demise of the NHS; of the education system; of the Army, Navy & Air Force; and one of the highest tax regimes in Western Europe; the list goes on and on.
Mind you the alternative – dour humourless Gordy – doesn’t bear thinking about.
This country has NEVER been in such good shape for such a long period of time!

Whilst in Egypt I witnessed Egyptian women hissing at European women with bare arms and legs. They were intolerant of our culture.
Muslim women who CHOOSE to wear the veil are sending out the message that they do not wish to integrate with British society.
I work with Poles, Georgians and Lithuanians. I really enjoy helping them with their
English language skills.And in return, they teach me how to swear in their language. :lol:
