I bet you rate Adriano though, yeh? He played all of last season and scored 13 goals..Martins barely played last season, due to huge injuries and what not..How can you even comment when you haven’t ever seen him play a full 90 minutes?
Martins signed a long-term contract with the Italian giants in 2005 (until 2010) worth around €2.5 million annually[2] and continued his good form for Inter, before heading out to play for Nigeria in the African Nations Cup. Nigeria finished third in the tournament, losing to Ivory Coast 1-0 in the semi finals. Martins scored two goals in the competition, both coming against Senegal in the first round.
Although he had some success with Inter, scoring 48 goals for the club in 88 league games games and 11 goals in europe , the young Nigerian handed in a transfer request in August 2006. This was due to Inter bringing in two new strikers, first Hernán Crespo was brought in on loan from Chelsea and then Zlatan Ibrahimovic was bought by Inter from relegated Juventus[3].

Why did no one want him? You’ll find that alot of teams wanted him, and we also showed interest in him, as did AC Milan, Juventus last season, and so did other top European clubs..But Inter Milan would never sell to there rivals like Juventus or AC Milan..It’s most players dream to play in the premier league…If he had gone to anyone else but Newcastle, you wouldn’t be saying sh1t, and Newcastle arn’t a sh1t team..They are in the premier league after all, unlike Sunderland

It’s because he is a quality footballer..I wouldn’t have minded if United had brought him..He is a proven goalscorer and a constant threat to defences.

Are you an idiot? Have you ever seen Martins play? He is a fu.cking great player, and fu.ck knows why Milan sold him! He scored more goals than Adriano last season, and has been scoring bags of goals for them ever since he was 17…Don’t slate him..Cos after you see how quick he is, and how good he is, technically, and other things about his game, plus his pace, goal accuracy, power, then you won’t be slating him…I ain’t a Toon fan, but they have somehow got themselves one hell of a player!

:lol: Nah, your right..He was ONLY Inter Milans first choice striker for 3-4 years. He was only tipped as one of the best young strikers around, and still is by the way. He ONLY scored more than Adriano last season, also by playing less games than him..He has ONLY scored alot of European goals in his time at Inter Milan. You know NOTHING about him, dude, while millions of other fanatic football fans do…He is a great striker, and his record speaks for itself. You can’t judge a player on one game..If you can judge a player in one game, then Ronaldinho, Henry, Rooney, Cristiano Ronaldo and every other damn player must be a disgrace if you think like that..
