Um….Geoff, we didnt get taken over by one of the richest men on this earth. We became global, because of success, and because of success, there were alot of fans in China, Japan, America, and so on. At the end of the day, after 2 decades OF success, you are going to net a lot of money, because of the things the fans all over the world are buying!
Chelsea were nothing until the Russian took control in 2003-2004, and Chelsea are NOT global. One day, the Russian will be finished with his toy, and you will be just another statistic of a club falling into administration! Actually, you won’t even fall into administration. If you lived midway between Everton and Liverpool, Man Utd and Man City, Tottenham and Arsenal, which is your local team? I’m on about the glory hunters young man, not the local team. My team play in South London, I come from South London. Your team play in Manchester (it’s kinda north and left of you) and you come from Hertfordshire, some 150 miles south. Why didn’t you support Bury or Stockport County?
Because I grew up watching videos of United, all the time! I have 2 United fans, who are alot older than me, in my family! You can call it what you want, Geoff…Ain’t no sweat off my back. :wink:

The fact is, since Chelsea has been on the scene with all that money, everyone would rather see Liverpool and a United final. The reason being is so United can beat them in the final, while Chelsea get beat in the semi final…AGAIN!
