Since when did it come down to facts? Because you saw it on the news? There is no fact within this discussion. None at all! You can say who you think will become the next manager, but you can’t start chucking the word, “fact” around that easily when there is no, “facts”, to actually back it up.
And to Bad Manners: Yeh, that Motherwell boss is another good choice, but I don’t think he will be a target by the F.A. Like Pikey said, I think they may go for an unproven former international. All we can do is wait and see. I doubt that it will be a foreign manager, but again, we’ll have to wait and see what happens.
Well to quote you “but you can’t start chucking the word, “fact” around that easily” it is easy to say fact! Its football not life, does it really matter who manages the team aslong as for once before we die they get England through a World Cup??????
God, you can’t be that stupid, surely? That first bit of you’re reply actually made me laugh. I would comment on the, “fact” bullsh1t. But after reading what you have just put, it’s hard to comment on . Actually, what the fu/ck are you going on about? The bit where you say, “it is easy to say fact!”, hahahaha, that sounded propper childish. Thank you for the laughs, but you have no idea what you are going on about. Reply as much as you like, but if it is as stupid as that one, then please dont .
ps: “its football not life”….I also have no idea what that has to do with facts or anything else on this topic. Again, thank you for the laughs.
Anyway, back on topic….
And after reading most of all your posts you really do think you know it all ROBBO. But far from it. And as for saying my posts are stupid well in your opinion, in mine you are so narrow minded and cannot see out the box, all this bull you sprouting on about english managers ffs grow up!!!!!
Becky, look at the thread title. What does it say? Yes, it’s about England and Sven. May I ask, how old are you? Just curious . And I should grow up because i’m talking about England in a thread which is about England? Haha, you are a classic individual who couldn’t put a grown up sentence together if you tried. Again, thank you for the laughs, but if I were you, I wouldn’t say no more unless you are actually replying to the topic itself. Lets see if you can actually do that .
(waits for another reply)

A bigger part of me would rather see them lose to Wigan in the final! :lol:I think you mean Blackburn, unless I was watching the wrong game, which i’m pretty sure I wasn’t.

hi peeps,
As a fanatic scots football fan dont you feel that the fa have choose a crazy time to reveale that sven is going to leave, just as there going into a world cup campain, alright he got stung by the pappers but it was,nt anything wee didnt already know i feel that the pappers have been on a witch hunt from the start that sven got the job .I f you go by his reaults he is 1 of the most succesfull english managers yous have had now i think that you should get behind this team as they have the players to bring sports greatist prise back to this island.i just find it bemused why a national tabloid would do this at a time when there training for the world cup………………………..You could have put this in the other thread, but anyway….
If he goes, he goes. I wouldn’t call it a major loss, or anything near that level. If you look at our players, then you’ll see that the quality is there anyway….But as i’ve already said, I wouldnt call it a mega loss.

All that’s happened, I reckon, is that the semi-final uncertainty has been removed. He was going to get t’sack for quarter-finals or worse and he was going to leave if we won. Only a defeat in the semis would have seen him carry on anyway.
The mood is definitely for an Englishman to replace him. I can’t see an Englishman about with the right experience, bar possibly Robson the elder. Perhaps we should follow Holland and Germany and go for an unproven former international superstar. We’ll see how it goes for them in the summer.
I do think that is what may happen. If we go for an unproven former international to be our manager, then i’m all for Stuart Pearce, or even Ian Wright. Ian Wright has a great personality, and alot of influence within the game! But if we go for experience, then I think that Mclaren should get the job, or maybe Curbishly. But I suppose we’ll have to wait and see.

I saw on the news about wanting an English manager, but they said their is no one who fits what they need, no one who is right for the job and to be honest i agree. I may be a girl but im married to a footie fanatic and most of the top premiership teams are managed by non english men. I dont care where they come from as long as England win a world cup. 8)
I’ve just explained that..Again, our NATIONAL team, is far more important than a manager who manages a premier league team!
but you can see the logic of it robbo surely??
why choose a an english bloke to coach the national team? when foreign managers OBVIOUSLY manage teams better??
mourinho? benitez? wenger? ferguson?
none are english, all are good managers,
i personally dont care what nationality the person is to be honest, its never bothered me at all, my local english team arent managed by an english man, so why should my country be?
i respect you say the national team is more important, and to the world it is, but if someone wants to do the job and is able to i say let them do it
Do u not feel that an English manager could have done at least as good a job as Eriksson if not better?
Even though that is not to me, but I PERSONALLY think an English manager would of. You see Sven just sitting there if things weren’t going right, and Mclaren, our assistant manager trying to fix things. Id of liked him to be our manager, to be honest with you. He shares passion and emotion, which Sven fails with. I could name more, but i’m sure you all know them anyway.

All he does is repeat “you’re beautiful” for 5 minutes and gets paid for it ffs.
BOOOOO, GET A HAIRCUT, AND A REAL BAND, BLUNT!
I agree
I read them lyrics and I didn’t think he was a very good songwriter to be honest with you. Extremely simple written. It’s nothing to go, “wow” over, or, “God, he’s a talented”, or whatever. But hey, if you like him and you think he’s good, then there is no problem with that .
