In case none of you know yet. Murray has reached the top 10 in the world rankings for the first time with Haas losing in the quarter final of a tournement he was in. Murray does it without even hitting a tennis ball haha!
Its unlikely Murray will play in tomorrows tournement, due to him complaining about back injuries as he was foreced to retire from doubles today with his brother, so I doubt he’ll play in the singles tomorrow, but we’ll wait and see!

to be fair, you can’t really judge a player from the championship.. its silly.. just in the same way you can’t compare players from the scotish league, the prem is a whole different ball game.. you get half the time to think, you got to rely more on instict, i am sure he will get his chance though, upto him to prove doubters wrong
Going by your last post…I don’t think you have seen much of him really, have you?
At the end of the day, the kid has the capabilities infront of goal, and his movement off the ball gives him the prospect of becoming a good striker in the premier league.
A little side note for you, Matty…People were extremely surprised that Spurs brought Carrick from the championship, and he wasnt hyped up, he didn’t always play, and look what he has done and acheived? There is so much hidden talent in the lower divisions, but no one will sign them because it’s all about, “who can spend the most money” nowadays!

yes, he managed to pass a ball and make one chance against a pub team
worth 6 million at least
Perhaps because he came on in the last few minutes, maybe? I’m sure that many other players could have scored hattricks, had 11 shots at goal, 14 assists in the last few minutes of the game….Duh!
At the end of the day, he has a strikers instinct infront of goal and he will be heading to the premiership within the near future(and I am not referring to that because of his little tap in for England). He is a great striker with high prospects of becoming even better.
26 March, 2007 at 12:13 am #264796He’s doing well in the Sony Erricson Open too. He’s now in the 4th round. He has the best consistency out of everyone in the ATP tour this year as the seeded players are struggling against unseeded players, while Murray, the 19 year old, is beating seeded players and unseeded players, and has been doing so since the start of 2007. He is at a high of 12th in the world rankings so far, and will not slip down the rankings as his win today has notched him enough points to stay 12th for the next 3 months, I think, so the only way is up for him, and it’s very tight from 12th to 5th. Anyway, I hope he wins tomorrow, so he gets more points to further his points tally and his ranking status.

No they do not have the same quality of stadia as England
Quick comaprision of stadia
1. Barcelona – 98,000
2. Real Madrid – 80,000
3. Valencia – 55,000
4. Athletico Madrid – 54,000
5. Deportivo – 45,000
6. Sevilla – 45,0001. Wembley – 90,000
2. Man utd – 75,000
3. Arsenal – 60,000
4. Man city 48,000
5. Liverpool 45,000
6. Chelsea 42,000No big differences
Six stadiums in England already meet all of FIFA’s requirements in terms of seating, capacity and pitch size, while five others meet all the requirements except pitch size, the report said.”
So are you sayin im correct then?
Um, if you are going to compare sizes of stadiums, then please get them right. Barcalona’s stadium can hold 120.000, not 90.000. Barcalona’s stadium is the biggest stadium in the world, and Real Madrid, I think, have a bigger stadium than Manchester United’s. So between England and Spain, there isn’t much in it.
ps: BTW, Man United’s stadium capacity is 79.000, not 75.000

He dived at spurs today, then laughed about it.
Was the most hated footballer in England last summer, he somehow managed to wriggle his way out of it, now he’s back!
No need for tv replay’s then
Berbatov didn’t try to cheat the referee for a penalty then, no? That was by far the worst dive out of the 2, but because it is Ronaldo, that everyone will point a finger at him rather than another player playing for the opposite team. What about when every player who makes a meal out of the little tiny things just to get a free-kick? At the end of the day, diving is diving, regardless of where it is on the pitch. Every player does it and every player is at fault for it, whether you are in the penalty box, or not.

…they drew against United, beat Spurs convincingly…
You forgot to mention, we beat West Ham away, Chelsea only beat us with a lucky goal, and the demolition job Arsenal did on us was a joy to watch. Beautiful footy!
Yup, it is indeed…I’m a United supporter, and I personally thought we would beat you, but it was a draw…It shows you what fighting spirit can do for you, and it is working marvelous with Reading…Who knows, you may even get into Europe next year
Which shows you how much Robot knows about football – ABSOLUTELY NOTHING
GROW UP KIDIm a United supporter ffs – have you ever been to a live game in your life sonny ???
Like Token Male stated. There was nothing but positive stuff in my reply to Owen. You just cannot help yourself but to reply to me with negative and pathetic Justchat behaviour, which again, makes you look an ass . Quit while you are behind, it is for your own benefit!
ps: Martins is doing well for Newcastle isn’t he?.
You are right, I was wrong about him ever finding any kind of form for Newcastle! That was sarcasm by the way.19 December, 2006 at 12:23 am #253200@fastcars wrote:
2006 also saw the emergence of the “serial moaner”. The person who never had a good word about how this place was run or who persistantly complained about the contents of peoples posts or the personal attacks they suffered or witnessed on others. But whos rants were justified and whos were just boring old twoddle because they couldnt think of anything else constructive to post.
Its time to vote for JC’s most boring ranter of 2006 8)
I can remember you being just like Owen to some extent, Fast, always biting, etc etc, boring users to death and so on. If this was based on a non biased site, then Geoff should certainly be on there, and you should have been on there.

By the way Bendtner is a brilliant footballer – I have seen him play twice – “live” – yes thats at an actual match Robbo – and he has a great presence – great touch – and a lot of skill
But there again he’s playing first team football – Rossi can’t get a game – if you look at some of the shyte Newcastle put in the team before him – it makes me wonder whether you have any sort of clue at all Robbo !!!I have asked plenty of work mates who supprt Arsenal about Bendtner…They reckon that he most likely will not get first team football at Arsenal and will also be offloaded in the summer to another team, and they do not rate him as highly as you, or rate him that much at all to be honest with you…And they ARE Arsenal fans. Then I thought I would ask them about Rossi, and what they think of him, and they rate him just as highly as me, and they also think that United should get him away from Newcastle asap. They think he is a wicked little player and they also stated that they would love a kid who possesses so much quality in there youth policy(as Arsenal did try signing him before they got Lupoli). So to be honest with you…That sums it up, and we know Arsenal Fans never have much good to say about United. I did agree with them about Denilson being a stormer of a player. That player right there, in my eyes, will be one of the best to come out of Arsenals bunch(even though he has only been there for a few months).
I guess they don’t have a clue neither, then? Yeh, thought so!. Keep off the football subjects as you only bring it here when you want to win one over me, but you can’t and never will, so forget it! Just like Baptista being a youthful player at Arsenal!
