If they increased the minimum wage then it might be an incentive to get those on their fat asses as Catz says, up and into work. There needs to be a greater differential between benefits and payment for work.

When you say ‘us’ you mean ‘us’ as in the tax payers. Unfortunately there isn’t enough of ‘us’ to pay for what the government needs to cover it’s planned expenditure. Part this expenditure, and it’s not a small part is on benefits. If you are working and not declaring then you are only increasing the burden on ‘us’. However, I do think the minimum wage is too low. :twisted:
