14 June, 2008 at 8:06 pm #10530I just spent 2 nights away exploring Herefordshire and stayed in B&Bs that had en-suite, TV, nice surroundings . . . £25/night for siungle £35 for double. Hotels are about twice the price and what do you get extra?
 – availability of evening meal & drinks on the premesis. Not a lot more. So who actually uses hotels and why? 14 June, 2008 at 8:08 pm #348147very rare do i book into a hotel, use mostly travel lodges when i can, though i did once take a girlfriend to a really nice hotel, got a s……. out of it, so was worth the extra pence, and i enjoyed the facilities on offer too but no.. i much prefer camping, a lot more fun 14 June, 2008 at 8:23 pm #34814814 June, 2008 at 8:24 pm #348149@forumhostpb wrote: @matty wrote: but no.. i much prefer camping, a lot more fun Didn’t know you were gay Matty.  he better not be i’ve booked a bus shelter for the night  15 June, 2008 at 8:26 am #348150Lets not forget room service! 8) 15 June, 2008 at 8:37 am #348151I used to stay in a hotel for 3 nights a week over a period of 8 months.
It was due to the work I did.
I’m with Matty – camping is great fun. When I say “with Matty” I mean I agree with him. We broke up ages ago. :(15 June, 2008 at 8:38 am #348152@hisnibbs wrote: I just spent 2 nights away exploring Herefordshire and stayed in B&Bs that had en-suite, TV, nice surroundings . . . £25/night for siungle £35 for double. When staying in B&Bs, I was always aware of being in someone else’s home, and having to tiptoe around, observing proprieties. In fact we once got..erm..ejected from a B&B when a member of our party got blind drunk and fell asleep in the bath, leaving the frantic owner to break down the door. 15 June, 2008 at 10:44 am #348154@(f)politics? wrote: @forumhostpb wrote: @matty wrote: but no.. i much prefer camping, a lot more fun Didn’t know you were gay Matty.  he better not be i’ve booked a bus shelter for the night  i knew there was somthing I forgot to do last night 15 June, 2008 at 12:06 pm #348155@matty wrote: @(f)politics? wrote: @forumhostpb wrote: @matty wrote: but no.. i much prefer camping, a lot more fun Didn’t know you were gay Matty.  he better not be i’ve booked a bus shelter for the night  i knew there was somthing I forgot to do last night it’s not the twelth yet but u better not forget then or you’ll be incapable of laying out in ur camping tent ever again lol
