Blue Monday………………

Class track by New Order……there will always be many reasons for this…….came out of Joy Division…..Biggest selling Dance 12 inch single ever……..Manchester band……the list goes on. In my opinion, they were awesome because they knew how to use a drum machine to mind blowing effect. I mean, Barney can’t sing very well, keyboards were ok but nothing special. But overall, the track it self was an absolute masterpiece and not only that..they did some fantastic tracks long after.

Depeche Mode – Enjoy the Silence sounds very much like a New Order production or definitely an influence. So what i am saying here is that New Order had a great knowledge of the electronic drum but didn’t have the synth power to really blow any one’s mind later on.
