anyone know how long it lives for?
Ive had a glass and survived so far…
And I dont wanna waste it after all the press about wasteage

isnt wine meant to last for years?well I had a google and its not really clear.
Its been in a sealed bottle since it was born, so time will tell…

If it tastes ok.. you should be fine. If its gone off it will taste like vinegar and take the inside of your mouth off.
The smell was pretty potent on opening, but I let it “breathe” like they say too.
And it tastes nice, but rather strong. Im getting the fruity taste now, and the colour looks okay.
Its blackberry 1995. :shock:

if its corked it will be nasty.
Thats what I thought Pats. The cork came out in one piece and there is no evidence in the taste of it being corked. Ive only had bad wine a few times and been able to tell straight away but this is from blackberries in Dave’s uncles garden… proper homemade.
He even put pretty lables on the bottles lol :lol:
should be fine then. my elderly nxt door neighbour used to make his own wine. i was his taster on sundy mornings….i was usually pissed by dinner. :lol:
haha, I will let you know later what I think after the next glass.
but its going well so far. I may even give it ago myself, making me own.. being as we are in a recession and all that.
we used to brew our own beer was fookin dynamite. :lol:
