Eastenders – ive heard that the recent “paedophile” storyline has caused a lot of complaints. Fair enough, some people might think that the subject matter is a little strong for a pre-watershed programme. I dont. Bianca’s fella is having it away with a 15 year old girl who lives with her. Its not her real dad, and she claims she loves him. Im not sure how old she was supposed to have been when the relationship started…hes been in the nick for 12 months, so im guessing she mustve been 12/13. Its a bit sick, but these things happen in real life. So why shouldnt it feature in a soap?

wrong pete. its showing how vunerable 12 yr olds can be groomed by these perverts.
If it can save atleast 1 kid, its worth it
Thats the job of documentaries i dont believe for one minute thats why the shows producers put the story line in

Kids dont realise they are being groomed and what the adult is doing is wrong. By the time they do realise, it is too late.
By putting this subject into a soap like EE, it is showing kids the signs and hopefully they can have the courage to go and get help before it is too lateI truley believ this can help alot of young kids watch the soaps and they aint doing it sleezy to me they showing its not there fault
As dawny said if it can help 1 child think thats happing to me and im not the only person going though it and to see that its not right then im all for it dont matter what time day or night
so where was the grooming ? He beat someone up for her and went to prison theres no grooming story from meeting to bedding the storyline is for the reaction when they’re found out
