I am doing a 14 mile walk on March 27th to raise money for The Royal Marsden’s cancer charity.

My best friend’s son was recently diagnosed with having leukemia at the very young age of 8 years old, and also my Mother is being treated for this disease. I would love to raise as much as possible to keep fighting Cancer, as The Royal Marsden is a fantastic hospital and deserves to be supported.

I know money is tight with most people at the moment but this really is a worthy cause,
and even a couple of pound can go a long way.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

    Thank you. xx

JustGiving only helps with fundraising for registered charities, the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity is registered, Charity Registration No. 1095197.

It’s the safest way to pay sponsorship money, you know that it will go to the charity, it even processes the gift aid which as I know only too well from when I worked for a charity is a right pain in the rear.

I was shocked to hear that a significant proportion of people who do the Race for Life and elect to collect the sponsorship money themselves don’t submit their sponsorship money despite completing the race. No doubt that happens to a lot of other charities too. That’s why charities like people to use JustGiving, for a relatively low fee it does all the administration for them, the money can’t go into someone else’s pocket and it’s trusted. It also gives the fundraisers a lot of support and advice on raising as much as they can.

If I had money to spare I would, but, I just simply can’t. I have done my bit for charity when I had dosh – I got sponsers and those that din’t pay up, I paid the difference. I am sorry I can’t. I wish you well though! Feel a bit awful about it tbh. :?

I hope the little boy gets the treatment he needs and comes out with a :D mwa mwa xxx

I am sure there is a passage in the bible about the rich man who contributed loads at the temple and the poor widow who gave her only penny. Charity is a personal thing. I ONLY support charity linked to cancer and have my reasons. Good on ya Ht. There is a choice in this. No one has to donate. Monetary wealth is nothing without health though.
