Just saying good moaning on the hello thread made me nostalgic for some of the old TV shows such as ‘Allo ‘Allo! anyone remember René Artois, Yvette Carte-Blanche and The Fallen Madonna with the Big Boobies, Herr Otto Flick of the Gestapo The gay German Lieutenant Gruber continually flirting with René. :D full of sexual inuendo and so funny.
There is a long list of programmes my favourite of all time is Only Fools and Horses and favourite episode was when they were cleaning the chandelier and saved the wrong one from falling, gosh laughing just thinking about it :D

Did you know that they had one take to film that chandlier scene..and if you look closely at Del and Rodney on top of the ladders when it drops, they are really trying hard not to laugh. Nicholas Lyndhurst said this in an interview a while ago.
I agree Fools and Horses is classic…my all time fav tv show!
I havnt got a fav episode but i do like the jolly boys trip to Margate episode, so funny.
I have all the dvds and watched them over and over, i also have personlised birthday cards and signed pics of the cast!
I tink David Jason is an underestimated actor.
They dont make progs like this anymore!!!!10 July, 2011 at 12:04 pm #473179Yes Taffy I think I saw the same interview, makes the whole scene even funnier, I remember Kent once saying she was a fan too I think she bought an original script for one of her boys. Thought you might appreiciate this bit of a script of theirs from the episode Modern Men (1996)
Del, tries to compliment Raquel with disastrous effect.
Raquel- You see this girl here. I worked with her years ago when I was in show business. She was just a kid then! Look at her now, she’s about to appear in the new James Bond film!
Cassandra- Ooh Piers Brosnon.
Rodney- Now you don’t need Piers Brosnon dear, you’ve got me.
Cassandra- Yes haven’t I just?
Del- Well, I tell you what, Raquel. If she can be in a James Bond film, so could you.
Raquel- Oh shut up.
Del- No, you could.
Raquel- Don’t be silly.
Del- I’m serious. I mean, look at her, she’s a dog. :shock:I loved Butterfles too remember that? Wendy Craig… she reminded me of me :D
