sorry anc but you seem to know a lot in a non flappant way.. I think you need your own thread.
out the blue i get a young man asking to befriend me,, i see the family resemblance between the boys and my own son. My cousins kids.. loads o pic but none of my cousin!,, she was a photographer to trade, so might have taken the pics.. but they were out of focus numbers.. and NOT at all like a professioal RAF dudette..
she is not on the pics.. im scared to ask..

Should I be arsed with hunting around different energy suppliers to make maybe 10% saving or should I badger my family to use less energy, turn off the telly etc?
