Place Silver Foil Behind Your Radiators.
This Will Increase Water Temp and Room Temperature Plus Water Will Stay Hot Longer.
Try it and see the Difference.23 August, 2011 at 7:56 am #476733How does the foil stick to the radiators? And how on earth do you get behind there?

foil sticks to the wall and reflects heat in to the room instead of the wall

i bet he puts cling film over his windows too :PI did that years ago when we were in an old style house, I think it made a difference, but of course it’s a bit fiddly as you have to do it pane by pane. It doesn’t cut out the draughts around the window though. and you can always remove it again in the summer.
The most effective saver I’ve found is to only use stuff when you need it, turn off lights when rooms are unused, and turn on the heating when an extra layer – a jumper, or cardigan, stops keeping you warm. then wear warmer clothes even if the heating is on, so you can turn the thermostat down – you don’t have to go to extremes, although I have been known to pretend I’m Noel Coward in my dressing gown with my glass of brandy . . . .

You’re always so nicely dressed Kenty, why would I want you to remove your clothes?
