ok i dont know where im going with this,its pure ad lib,but i try to give it a go,thing is there is a huge gap tween boards and chat,in chat for instance,you are competing against all the others,tring to get your pennyworth in,if your not quick enough your post can get lost in the midst of time,but boards (which i prefer) you can take all the time you like,and give a more considered approach,as in,well me i can use the preview button read it and think nah thats not right,in chat tho ppl tend to just blurt things out.
now then moving on to boards,there is no set rule,some ppl tend to stick to the blue chip type for safety,ala what are your thoughts today etc,knowing that there will be a reply somewhere,some people like to make their own threads up,problem with that is you can be open to ridicule,if its controversial,so some boardies will stick to the safe thing,recipes tv etc,others will push the boundaries,wot ever floats yer boat really,erm i was inspired to write this thread,by reading other posts,like my comments on blondes post count.also thins cooment on my quest to have more replies than he gets,well thats rubbish,he once told me on the fone,the secret is anybody can have a 1000 views you can just reading yourself,but that isnt for me,ive previewed,its replies that count so to finish try to make your threads funny,innovative and interesting.

i used to chat a lot more than i do now……not as much time these days i guess……i’ve always considered myself to be a bit of a ‘fence sitter’ when it comes to the chatroom…….but as long as i can have a giggle and a goof about then i’m quite happy…
as for the boards…….personally i feel they are abused……..i’d much rather see threads of good debates and humour than slanging matches……….the good threads usually get hijacked…..c’est la vie.

refuse to put siggys,avators,pics or images etc i was told not to
so,so be iter just a quick count of posts ive done about 25OO ON jc bout 35OO in er you know where and god knows how many times in blue moon, all in all i reckon ive done about 12OOO posts thin is an amateur compared to me,i know this sounds childish,but its important to regs.

the boards are visited mostly by readers not posters
replys to a post are great
but the quality is often poor

well i like the boards they can be great fun all the years in chat am sure ul agree ppl take it to serioues and take themselves far to serioues if ppl are daft enough to put there lives in a room then they can exspect what comes there way its the nature of the beast as for thin and bestman i enjoy the threads yous do they so make me lmao the beauty of it is to put the suggestion in the thread and let others take the can :D for me i just like a laff and p take but all in good fun keep up the gud work guys and girls
