For the love of all things fooking annoying………..how the hell do I get rid of this ?????????

I have run everything [and I mean everything] and have deleted the bugger, but everytime I reboot it’s there again. I have run CWShredder which finds it, removes it and again if I reboot it’s there again.

I have done a bit of Googling…….and it appears that the DLL file is in the registry……so have located this file but it doesn’t give me the same information as the site I was looking on gives me…..[ie, the Value is blank but apparantley it should show where the file is] so I can’t [and won’t] delete it.

It is infecting my IE Toolbar Wallpaper add-in so I delete the entire folder, again reboot, and when I download the IE Toolbar Wallpaper again, it’s reinfected again.

    I just don’t know what to do now……..anyone ??? anyone ????

I thought you took the advice of an expert?

    Even forked out money

Well it got rid of the other 400 odd files [that my other programmes didn’t find]. Just not this one.

But having looked on tinternet – it is a bit of a barsteward to get rid of.

But thank you for “Observing”……… :D

I am of the opinion that every new adaware remover brings with it false hope in the form of ‘look what I done for you!’

I will look to help you, unless you are thinking I am taking the p_iss

Have you tried looking at page four in Useful Downloads?

Any help is always gratefully received Mr Observer….. :D

And I do agree with your opinion to a degree – I have quite a number of spyware/adware/malware removal programmes and each one finds something that the others don’t – so where does one stop ? which is the right one ? etc, etc.

But I do think that Adware Spy is v.good – like I said, the other programmes I have found 1 or 2 items, I ran Adware Spy and it found 400……… [unless of course it is pretending to make it look like it’s doing it’s job………..].

Anyhoo help and take the p’ss if you like – I can handle both !

The 400 ‘spyware’ files it found are merely cookies stored in your Temporary
    Internet Files.

Granted Ow£n most of them were – but there were at least 20 odd trojans and adwares that I hadn’t seen on the other programmes.

Have run CWShredder, Adaware SE, Spybot constantly on, Spyware Blaster.

Turn off System Restore. Run everything and then turn it on again.
Rogue files sometimes get saved when your pc creates system restore
points. It is not possible to delete files in System Restore.

By temporarily disabling System Restore you will lose all your restore
    points.
