just been comfirmed that Rooney has been passed fit to play, wonder if he will start
my personal opinion is we don’t need him just yet, so no need to throw him in right away for 90 mins
this talk about match practice however is rubbish as far as i am concerned… he has only played 4 or 5 games less then anybody else in the team over the past 6 weeks
and hes young, his overall fitness is probably better then most in the team anyway
great news for england, now time for england to show the world what they are up against

sorry, I only just read the news, so does this mean now if rooney does play and gets injured, England are no longer liable to compensate manchester united
Sven confirmed him fit to play last night. He just never confirmed if he would take part in todays game or not
There’s no way he’ll play from the start. He’ll probably come on to try get an equaliser with 20 mins to go. :D
